Mockingbird nominated for two Eisner Awards
So, this kind of amazing thing happened. Mockingbird received two Eisner nominations. One for best new comic book series, and one for best writing. The Eisners are the most important award in comics, and incredible creators go their whole careers without a nomination. As a comic book enthusiast, I know that a book recognized by the Eisners is always worth reading.
Anyway, I know that most of the people here are thinking, YES, BUT WHEN IS THE NEXT THRILLER COMING OUT?
But I just wanted to share, because it's a big thing to me.
All eight issues of Mockingbird are collected in two volumes now. (Vol 1 - "Mockingbird: I Can Explain," and Vol 2 - "Mockingbird: My Feminist Agenda.") You can find them in comic book shops or in some book stores or on the Internet.
Thanks for reading.
